Features

Everything it does.

One app covers the whole session — the open-play queue, the tournament you run once a month, the screen on the wall, and the results people ask for afterwards.

Open play

The queue that runs itself

  • A live queue on every phone. Change anything and every screen in the room updates, instantly.
  • Three ways to order it. Longest waiting first, avoid repeat pairings, or arrange the order by hand when you know something the app does not.
  • Winner-stays with a streak cap. Winners keep the court, but only for the run you allow — then they go back in the queue like everyone else.
  • Winners' Court. Winners play winners, challengers play challengers, and partners rotate every game.
  • Fixed partners and named teams stay together through every rotation, for the pair who came to play together.
  • Live edits. Swap a player mid-game, add or remove a court, or put someone on hold while they take a call.
  • Three players on a doubles court? The session keeps moving instead of stalling.

Tournaments

Four formats, and the admin they usually cost

SEMI-FINALS FINAL WINNER Mei K. / Jason T. Alex L. / Sam W. Priya N. / Tom B. Yuki S. / Hana Y. Mei K. / Jason T. Priya N. / Tom B. Mei K. / Jason T.

Byes, forfeits and walkovers propagate through the bracket on their own — no redrawing after someone pulls out.

  • Round robin, single elimination, double elimination, and pool play feeding a knockout bracket.
  • Rotating-partner sessions where everyone plays with different partners and everyone gets an equal number of games — the maths is done for you, for any number of entrants.
  • Random or manual draws. Clubs that did the draw on paper before they arrived can enter it as-is, seeds and pools included.
  • Byes, forfeits and walkovers propagate through the bracket automatically. No redrawing after someone pulls out.
  • Live standings with head-to-head tiebreaks and final placements, visible to everyone as the rounds finish.

Squad Battle — club against club. An entrant is a squad rather than a pair, and one meeting is six matches: men's doubles, women's doubles, two mixed doubles, men's singles and women's singles. First to four wins it, and 3–3 goes to a Final Battle. Players join a squad by scanning its own QR code, or you place them yourself. Squad Battle needs a Pickleholic or Pickle Boss subscription; every other format is on the free tier.

For the venue

Put the session on the wall

  • A display board for a TV or a spare tablet — current courts, the waiting list, and recent results, big enough to read across a hall.
  • Optional score recording, with a results tab and every player's own win–loss record for the session.
  • Exports. Share the results, the full match list, the bracket or the win-rate table as a PDF or CSV.
  • Hide the join code from the public screen when you do not want walk-ups adding themselves.
  • Up to 25 courts in a single event on the top tier.

For players

Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for

Your place, live

See where you are in the queue and who you will be playing with, updating on its own.

Your own record

Wins, losses and your win rate for the session, without anyone keeping score on paper.

Rejoin in a tap

Come back to an event you already joined without scanning the code again.

Players never need an account. Scanning the QR and typing a name is the whole process. Only the organizer signs in.

See it in practice

The walkthrough shows a full session from both sides — the organizer's and a player's.
